Privacy Policy

Your privacy is part of your security. This policy explains what information Cybrix may process, why we process it, and the choices available to you.

1. About this policy

This Privacy Policy applies to the Cybrix mobile application, this website, and related support services that link to this policy (together, the “Services”). “Cybrix,” “we,” “our,” and “us” refer to, the entity responsible for operating the Services.

Cybrix is designed to help people identify device risks, reduce unwanted tracking, block harmful destinations, and protect network traffic. Some functions require limited technical information to work. We aim to collect only what is reasonably necessary for the feature you choose to use.

2. Information we may process

Information you provide

When you contact us, request support, participate in a survey, or communicate with our team, we may receive your name, email address, message content, diagnostic details you choose to attach, and any other information you voluntarily provide. Please do not send passwords, authentication codes, private keys, or sensitive documents through support forms.

Device and application information

To maintain compatibility and diagnose problems, Cybrix may process device model, operating-system version, application version, language, time zone, installation identifier, feature configuration, crash events, performance measurements, and general network type. We do not use these details to read the contents of your personal files, messages, photographs, or contacts.

Security and diagnostic signals

When you start a scan or enable a protection feature, the app may process signals such as enabled security settings, potentially unsafe configurations, suspicious destination categories, connection status, scan time, and an indication that a risk was found or resolved. Whenever technically practical, security analysis is performed on your device and only a minimized result is retained.

Purchase information

If you purchase a subscription through Apple’s App Store or another authorized marketplace, the store processes your payment details. We may receive a transaction identifier, product type, subscription status, renewal date, country or region, and confirmation that payment succeeded. We do not receive your full card number or store-account password.

Website information

Our website provider may automatically receive standard request data, including IP address, browser type, device type, requested page, approximate region, referral source, and request time. We may use essential cookies or similar storage required for security, fraud prevention, language selection, and basic site operation. Any optional analytics or advertising technologies should be described in an updated version of this policy before they are enabled.

3. How individual Cybrix features handle data

Deep System Scan

The scan evaluates available device and application signals to identify weak settings, outdated protection, or other conditions that may increase risk. Scan results are intended as practical recommendations, not a guarantee that a device is free from every threat.

Smart Web Shield

When Web Shield is enabled, destination information may be compared with security rules or threat-intelligence lists to identify phishing, malware, tracking, or other potentially harmful activity. Depending on your selected configuration, this comparison may occur locally or through a security service. We do not use protected destination information to build advertising profiles.

Private VPN Tunnel

When the VPN is active, network traffic is routed through infrastructure used to establish the encrypted tunnel. Operational records may include connection time, server region, session duration, transferred-data volume, and technical error information. Cybrix is not designed to record the content of encrypted communications or sell browsing histories. Temporary network records may be processed to prevent abuse, operate the tunnel, and investigate service failures.

Identity and breach monitoring

If you choose to monitor an email address or another identifier, that value may be compared against lawful breach-information sources. We use monitored identifiers only to provide the requested alert and related security guidance. You may remove a monitored identifier through the app where that control is available.

4. Why we use information

We process information to provide requested features; detect and block security threats; establish VPN connections; maintain subscription access; respond to support requests; troubleshoot crashes; measure reliability; protect the Services from misuse; comply with legal obligations; and develop improvements that make Cybrix safer and easier to use.

Where applicable law requires a legal basis, we rely on performance of our contract with you, our legitimate interests in operating and securing the Services, compliance with legal obligations, and consent when a feature or local law requires it. You may withdraw consent at any time, but withdrawal does not affect processing that was lawful before it occurred.

5. When information may be shared

We do not sell personal information. We may share limited information with infrastructure, hosting, customer-support, crash-reporting, subscription-verification, fraud-prevention, and security vendors that process it on our instructions. Vendors are permitted to use information only to provide their contracted service and must apply appropriate safeguards.

We may disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law, respond to valid legal process, protect users or the public, investigate fraud or security incidents, enforce our agreements, or protect the rights and safety of Cybrix. If the business is reorganized, financed, acquired, or sold, information may be transferred subject to confidentiality protections and applicable law.

Service providers may operate in countries other than your own. Where required, we use contractual or legal transfer safeguards intended to protect information across borders.

6. Data retention

We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose described in this policy. Support correspondence may be retained while a request is active and for a limited period afterward. Subscription records may be retained for accounting, dispute, and fraud-prevention requirements. Security logs are generally kept for shorter periods unless they are needed to investigate an incident or comply with law.

When information is no longer required, we delete it, anonymize it, or securely isolate it until deletion is technically possible. Backup copies may remain for a limited recovery cycle and are protected from ordinary use.

7. Your choices and privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or objection to certain processing. You may also have the right to withdraw consent and complain to a local data-protection authority. We will not discriminate against you for exercising a legally protected privacy right.

You can control many features directly in the app: disable VPN or Web Shield, remove monitored identifiers, adjust permissions through device settings, and manage a subscription through the marketplace where it was purchased. To submit a privacy request, contact us using the details below. We may need to verify your request before acting on it.

8. Children’s privacy

Cybrix is not directed to children under 13, or the higher minimum age required in a particular country. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children without appropriate authorization. If you believe a child has provided information to us, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action.

9. How we protect information

We use administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to reduce unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, and loss. Measures may include encryption in transit, access controls, limited employee permissions, monitoring, and secure development practices. No application, network, or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure, so you should also keep your device and operating system updated and protect your account credentials.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as Cybrix evolves or legal requirements change. We will revise the “Last updated” date and provide additional notice when a change is material. Continuing to use the Services after an update means the new policy applies from its stated effective date, to the extent permitted by law.
